Miss You to No One In Particular
It's been a while since I closed your door
I want to say I don't think of you anymore
But I sleep in your t-shirt all of the time
And that doesn't help to get you off my mind
And I swore I'd let go, but I just can't move on
But what was left is now already gone
I'm trying to function but falling apart
Left all alone where the emptiness starts
Here in this be where you used to lay
But now there's just space next to me today
And I thought it'd be easy for me to fall asleep
Without your heavy breathing so close to me
But the silence is louder than any noise
And here in the quiet I long for your voice
I just want to hold you and never let go
But where you are now I don't even know
And I hope that you miss me, but i don't think you do
Either way it goes, I still want to be with you
Even if you leave, you know I'll still care
And even if you walk away, I'll always be there
Because back in the summer to seasons past
I almost believed I could make this last
