Same Girl Different
Water dripping from the sky
Hides her already wet eyes
Conceals the tears streaming down her face
So that nobody sees
This girl
Sad and trying
Her minds in a whirl
Inside she's dying
Different girl, with her friends Has a smile that never ends
Happy, cheerful, full of glee
But there's something nobody sees
She hasn't always been this girl
And I lied when I said these two girls are different
But time has allowed her to change From the girl crying in the rain
To a happy person with smiles and dreams
