My Angel

The angel in my dreams is a nightmare in reality.
I wrap my arms around my being,
nothing can keep me from caving in.
When I beg you for help you take away my happiness.
When I'm rock bottem you push me further down.
It's your defense mechanism to take the angel
and make it my demon.
These old aches are repeated pains,
the only reason I'm still surviving is because my heart is wrapped
so strongly around my lovely demon,
that death would be to kind for me,
and to justified for you.
