A Day Later
You engage your love.
And hugs, and friendship.
And leave it a day later.
You go to Church, and vow to be Christlike.
And you Sin a day later.
You Help someone in need,
And you look down your eyes
a day later.
Why must we lie?
For why do we even Promise, when, in all reality.
It won't be kept forever.
Why do we Help, when,
we won't do it all the time.
Populace always ponders, these, ever-so-simple questions.
And yet nothing is done.
But then again, what can you do?
When it'll just be forgotten,
A Day Later
