How are you to know?
People call out for help,
Which are calling the wolves?
Which are in need?
How are you to know?
When a view can be twisted,
When words are rearranged,
When the truth is covered by a sheer curtain,
How are you to know?
When you help,
Responding to request and a call,
But you don’t get the full story,
How are you to know?
When you try to make a difference,
When you fight for someone,
But they have a hidden purpose you don’t see,
How are you to know?
Is it right to blame the person
Who was just trying to help,
If you were there and heard what was said,
How would you know?
Is there a way to know?
Are there key words to look for?
When do you truly get the full story?
When are you to know?
