Autumn
I feel as if the warmth of sun has neglected this side of the earth,
The leaves have left us and won’t be back till next year,
And the weather seems to be giving me the cold shoulder lately.
I feel as if this is the season of desertion,
For the lovely birds that wake me in the morning have gone away,
The sunrises come when I am not awake, and the sunsets have left when I come home.
Sometimes I wonder why everything has been chased away all of a sudden,
Is it the freezing cold that is here day and night?
Or is it, I dread to think, because of me?
