Listen to the Rain
When I listen to the rain sometimes I wonder,
if someone else hears it too.
If someone else sees it,
understands it,
If someone else feels it on their bare skin as they dance under it,
sings to it
If someone else cries to it,
learns from it.
I hope anyway, that someone else hears it too, because with rain,
there is growth,
there is happiness,
there is clean air to breathe in and start fresh.
When I listen to the rain I wonder,
if someone else hears it too.
If someone else runs from it,
gains strength from it,
If someone else holds it on their lips before they open their mouths to drink it.
gets inspired from it.
longs for it.
When I listen to the rain I wonder,
if a downpour is coming soon.
