I can't win
She has a smile made of pearls
Eyes so beautiful and bright the stars are jealous
Skin made of satin.
The body of a goddess
When she speaks everyone listens
When she laughs everyone laughs with her
Everyone loves her. Even I do
She reminds me of a lovely boy
A boy with wild hair and electric eyes
I’m in love with that boy
The beautiful girl, the beautiful boy
They’re best friends, and I can’t help but be jealous
I’d kill to be her. I’d sell my soul.
She has everything I want
It’s like she’s queen, and I’m a beggar
An ugly, hopeless beggar
Shunned and unloved.
I’m the girl with the crooked smile
My baby blues graying as I make it through another day of hell
Skin full of imperfections.
My body showing just how much I exercise.
When I speak nobody listens
When I laugh nobody laughs
Nobody loves me anymore. Not even me.
Not even that beautiful boy.
