Father
Dad
When I was little
I would always miss you
Always wondering
Why I only had mom
But since I have learned
That I don’t need you
Around to be fine
I feel much stronger
I’m glad that you called
All those years ago
I’m glad that I wrote that letter
Telling you that I didn’t want you
Around
That you were an *ss of a dad
For not coming to visit
I’m glad my mom found someone else
Someone who treats her
And i
Like people
Not items
He actually acts like a father,
Unlike you
I feel like I am wanted
So,
Thanks dad
For walking out
Out of my life
It may have been painful for me
At the time
But I’m glad
Glad that you are out of my life
Glad that my family
Actually feels like a full family
Thanks again dad
