Trust, Respect, Love
Honesty is hard sometimes
It is hard to trust
And it is hard to give trust.
Respect is something we all need, but not everyone gives.
Respect is something that seems hard when society judges books by its cover.
Respect is something that is hard to give to someone who has hurt you, but easy for someone you love and care about.
Love is unique.
You don’t know what it is or how much it can hurt until you feel it.
You can give it away to your family and really close friends,
However, not too many people get that love.
Some claim it happens once in a lifetime, some give up on it entirely.
How do you know if you can trust, have respect and love for a person?
Does it take long or do you know when you see them?
Does it feel like butterflies in your stomach when you see or talk to the person,
Or it is simply happiness?
How do you know if the one love in a lifetime hasn’t already introduced themselves to you,
How do you know they are not the person sitting next to you,
Or the person you shared your first kiss with,
Or the person you can’t stop thinking about.
