Fourteen Years Wasted in RED
pain boils deep inside,
fourteen years wasted.
now it sits at the whim of a knife,
a single move can end her life.
her tears make her shutter,
and her depression runs deeper.
the blade so sharp glistens in the tiny candle light.
her eyes go cold and her hand pushes the blade against skin
blood pools, drips, spurts.
her gown soaked in red.
she does it again, and again.
tears no longer run,
her shutters gone.
her ice blue eyes stare at red,
her mouth seems to smile.
"sorry" she whispers to nothing but air,
and she dies seeing,
nothing but deep RED.
