Frozen
I wish I could open my window
Disappear into the ice and the snow
Let the ice just fill my soul
The cold won’t make a difference
I’m already numb
To battered to feel my own bruises
To shaken to realize my whole world is at a stand still
And my shelters all blown down
No way to survive this
I can feel myself crawling
Into the cold
To wither and freeze
Till there’s nothing left
Shouldn’t take long
Soon I’ll be gone
And you wont even know
All that you’ll hear
Is this single tear
Hitting the earth
To freeze in the dirt
Lost and alone
Pathetic and small
You’ll walk over it
Not remembering I was ever there at all
