Torn Apart
Caught up in a path,
Full of love and hate,
To make the decision,
Of rage or hate,
To decide on love or lust,
To wonder if maybe it could work,
Two hearts divided by a separate choice,
Two hearts divided by a fear that hopes,
A fear that haunts their minds,
A love that bustles underneath the shrine,
Do you love me?
Or was I wrong?
To be such a fool and think love could go wrong,
To fool myself into thinking I would have,
Because frankly my dear,
I’m beginning to wonder,
The choice of begin caught or free,
Tangled or cut free,
Trapped between a rock and a hard place,
To only find no escape,
I can’t hide my feelings forever,
My love for you only burns more,
I can’t seem to break free of this net,
Caught between love or hate,
Which shall I choose?
Because fear is still clinging to me,
Like a baby koala on its mothers back,
Caught between love and hate,
I belivee I’ve made my choice,
But if I tell you my decision,
Then I will have no choice.
