Guns firing all around
Seeing bodies hit the ground
Mystery through these walls
It's hard to even walk the halls
Young and old they all die
But this topic just makes me cry
When the sky was gray up above
There was absolutely no love
Guns firing all around
Hearing bodies hit the ground
All blood and gore
This topic is war

The author's comments:
I wrote this in 8th grade after reading about the holocaust in English class. It's my favorite poem out of all of them that I have written and I just want to get it out there. It can be interpreted in more ways than one if you really read into it. I'd love to hear some feedback please :) Enjoy!
