That Certain Someone

You meet a certain someone
& think they're here to stay
only to find out later
they were leading you astray
so then you start all over
hoping you'll find the one
so this seemingly endless search
could be over with & done
& when you find that special person
uniquely made for you
it almost seems like time stands still
& you see the world anew
& even though you'll fight sometimes
you certainly should know
as long as that person is i your life
true love won't cease to show
