Watch Your Back
Last summer, I'll admit it.
Our relationship wasn't great,
But we still told eachother everything.
Then we didn't talk.
First day of school comes,
I find you in the crowd of excited students,
Out fellow classmates.
I tell you the important things that happened to me.
You told me the things that happened to you.
Second week of school,
People start talking about me.
The words run through me,
Filling me more than a five course meal.
I instantly know it was you that told.
No one else knew except one.
And she would never tell.
The rumors continue,
They start to get out of hand.
I deny them.
I still don't say anything to you.
A couple days ago was your birthday.
I acted as if you never betrayed me.
You don't realize that I have a lot against you.
You think I'm not the type of person that would talk about someone.
And I'm not.
But you crossed the line.
Just like you did so many times before.
But this time is different.
This time I'm not letting you off the hook.
I'm waiting patiently for the right time.
You say you believe in Karma.
Guess what?
Karma's a b****.
And I'm Karma.
