Eyes of the Clouds
My hair lifts gently, light wafts tugging on my roots
The tufts swirl about my likeness, veiling me in black
Only to emerge again in a land unknown
The sky tinted iceberg
The sweet smell of greenery rolling over my face
Kisses of coral and buttercup upon the expanse of earth
While warm breezes grace my arms
Sunlight heals my skin while my vision flutters and widens
His portrait painted in the heavens
A glint of recognition traces my lips
Remembrance draws my brows to sorrow
But the eyes melt into the sky
And it is gone
