Here lies the truth:
broken like bones,
hollow.
Here rests a matrimony of
curled-up leaves
and remembrances
under the starry night.
Here remains a fight for
survival,
courage to keep love
aloof in the collapsing arena of
gunfire -
they hate hopefuls like us,
and frankly,
I don't really give a damn.
So,
here lies the truth:
Here lies.
Powerful, isn't it?
