Downpour

The rain has finally moved in,
dribbling water down my skin.
My clothes never felt so thin,
i wipe a drip of water of my chin.
I turn to find you are not there,
your gorgeous eyes and beautiful hair.
I face the sky, reminisce, and stare.
I felt all along you didn't care,
now i inhale thick chunks of air.
The air contains my own despair,
i collapse onto my knees and say a prayer.
