Fatal
Tired and sad
Don’t throw me away
Pick me up
Wash the blood
From my open wounds
The ones you created
So I could be free
Too bad your name
Was already
Branded on my heart
It was the only thing
That held it together
Through earthquakes of despair
You were there
You, the steel bridge
Pulling the bleeding fragments
Of my fragile heart together
Stitching them forever
But you liked to try and
Unravel the thread, but it hurt
You left me
With only a faint tattoo of you
On my heart
It haunted me
In more ways than one
No amount of pills or cuts
Could numb the pain you left me in
As long as I still could breathe
This bruise would still ache
Pounding, hammering the bone
Shoot me, please
End my suffering
These wounds are fatal
