Under heavy blankets of
Woven fears
We sleep,
Smothering,
Day in and
Day
Out
Relentlessly crying
For help -
Help! -
We are lost in our
Thoughts,
Arms tied
Down with
Knots
Of
Ropes of
Lies,
We lie-
There is no
Escape
But through our minds
Yes!
Our thoughts are
Proscribed
Yet we refuse -
They can stop us
From rising,
Our limbs are numb,
But they
Can’t stop our
Words-
So
We must first
Attain this
Language
We speak,
Find
Our expressions,
Minds,
Deep in our
Slit
Throats-
Where are they?
Abandoned?
We still
Cry
Helpless,
Forgotten,
But we are not
Alone
Amongst millions we break
Barriers
And
Fight
For our rights
We will
Win
But
When?
We ask
It seems we are
Blinded
Numb and
Mute
Help!
Us
Soon for
We are
