In The End
I would close my eyes, but the screams keep me here,
Through the smoke and the ash, and the soot blowing in the air,
Why do you have to make me listen to every single tear drop falling in slow motion?
The sound is defining,
And they'll keep crying as I watch the world crumble down,
Shattered glass and blood and rock of the sweat of a million years,
But the sky is falling, a dark crimson they call it,
Blood stained hands of all the innocents will leave a thousand scars,
And who do we have to turn to when there is no one left alive?
