The Will of Acceptance
Is she adopted or just misplaced?
Every time I go out that's what I hear because of the color on my face.
Is it my fault for being mixed raced?
This immediate judgment is what I've always faced.
So what if I was adopted would that change how I see.
How I live how I feel and who I am going to be?
No matter where I come from in your judge mental eyes, open them wider, clearer
And realize.
It's not where you come from, but what is on the inside.
How big is your heart and soul?
How bad you want something, how big our your goals.
Your compassion to people and to this world.
Seems though you lack some of this because you assume by how I look that I am
Just a tragic adopted girl.
Family is should not be determined by the blood in your veins but the will of
Acceptance.
In a way we shall all be family.
