Some Assembly Required
When I fell in love I made a face
I used all the loneliness and stress that I had packed into a glass jar for the skin
Eyebrows were made of the best understanding that bunch up
I used hard attraction to make indentations for the eyes made from pure infatuation and honesty in each lash
With a hammer I nailed down some trust for the nose and left two holes for nostrils
I used sincerity for the lips which puckered up in an innocent quiver
Then it fell and broke on the floor
Then in a million pieces swept out the front door
I gathered each shard and began to reassemble
But this newly formed face wore a smile
