Miracles
Just when i started believing in miracles
you ruined it for me
told me it's just water
what i considered icicles
told me its just love
what i considered magical
you said don't you dare dream
because those don't come true
when i asked you if you ever dreamt
your eyes got watery, like the ocean blue
And that was the first time you wept
you told me about the time
you found the girl of your dreams
she was perfect, like the girl in my nightmares
all beautiful and radiant
everyone loved her, yet no one dared speak to her
i asked you why, and again you cried
you said she wouldn't be able to hear
what people had to say to her
and that was her greatest fear
for the world to judge her
then i asked you, what happened to that girl
you said you married her and bought her the world
i asked, it my mum?
you answered no, but i loved her like i love your mom
what happened to her daddy
she went to a place where
no one would judge her....
