Glass
My Heart of Glass
Is see-through
But if its filled
is up to you
It Hardens to stone
It crumbles to dust
Now I have nothing
Not even your trust
But I go on
My heart in your hands
Hoping and praying
Still making plans
To pick up my shards
and never look back
Gluing it up
Seeing a crack
The time has not come
No hearts have been broken
And to keep it that way
Just forget I have spoken
With such a fragile heart
In a broken-down girl
Time tells her to wait
For destiny to unfurl
