The Storm
We’re on a straight rode, all alone
Heading into the danger zone
We can see the storm from miles away
But on this rode we stay
Lightning cracks but we’re not scared
We swear we’re prepared
Into the storm we drive
Will we come out alive
Whirling winds take us in a different way
Hang on for the better day
now we’re paying the cost
And all that’s familiar is lost
I’m lost at every turn
And I’m everyone’s concern
All I wanted to do was pass through
Now I don’t know what to do
It seems clear
Then thunder shakes me with fear
Anger runs in my vein
Then the pain then comes the rain
Drenched from head to toe
I wanna go
I close my eyes
And I see the blue skies
Open my eyes once more
Taste the downpour
There is no where warm
So now I’m stuck in the storm
