bring me closer
To that bliss
I hold so dear.
Whispers
Whispered softy
Remind me
What I don't hear.
Emotions aren't spoken
Just felt--
Assumed.
I feel so much,
This ache--
I'm consumed.
A good ache
In it's way.
Reminds me what I must keep.
This heartache
It reminds me
How I'm in way too deep.
Tantalus;
I feel your pain
Temptation
Held so still.
Tantalizing
Fears of loss
Add to my petty thrill.
Smiling
I'm in ecstasy --
Holding close what I hold dear.
Screaming sincere honesty;
My words are silent here.
