"Be the change you want to see in the world."- Mahatma Gandhi

I stare here at this empty screen
Trying to put order to my thoughts.
What I’m sure of is one thing…
I want to spill
I want to share
I want you to feel with me
My emotions for you.

Touch my fingers,
Tighten your grasp around my hand
Fingers forming an unbreakable mesh
‘Cause I’m leading you into my utopia, our utopia
where we left behind the fear, the guilt, the reputations, the misery
and we are heroically and fearlessly together.

Let’s fly!

This is our first time visiting this place
Somewhat unfamiliar, somewhat not
Uncertainties and certainties…
Thinking and feeling and savoring.
We blindly soar higher together
as we familiarize ourselves with the journey.

We twirl in unison… almost like a dance
Smiling at the truth that lies behind our eyes.
We hold each other firmly
Not to be blown away by the cynicism of ‘the universe’…
And we move without momentum in the irony of this timeless moment.

Seconds, Hours, Days, Months…Years? The journey hasn’t ended yet.
But who cares?
The abundance of this beauty makes it seem dispensable.
The skies and the seas… we finger every heartfelt area and make it our own.
Because we are free.
Free?
Free from the world’s curses but bounded by something not superficial and intangible.

And then…

We pause for this monumental moment of realization.
Taking a glance around us
The journey has gotten more spectacular, radiant and divine than we started.
What is it? Why this change?
Our glances cross back again, but this time we see deeper behind the eyes
And we nod in agreement…

Our bodies now connected
Leaving no gap between the skins.
Our lips now touching and slightly positioning
Then they lock. One above the other.
And time pauses again.
The clouds and waters lie breathless around us.

We’re then awaken from this dream-like ecstasy and stupor
By the pulses from our heart.
Our eyesight bridged by this incredible electricity lacing through our bodies.
And we say this synchronously, with truth and passion…

I love you.
