I Wish I Didn't
I said yes,
Because it seemed right.
What else could I do?
But spend the rest of my life with you.
Now here I am,
Living—I suppose.
Thinking nothing better was out there,
Nothing better would come along.
So I guess it’s my fault,
Upset because I’m not happy.
Happy because I should be.
Should be because I wanted to be.
Expecting so much,
Receiving so little.
Regret comes with every choice I made,
Because I chained myself away.
Now I’m thinking,
Why did I say,
I do?
