Someday
It’s funny how time seems to fly away,
With each second and every passing day,
Once you were young now you are old,
But still have a strong hold.
Wrinkles are spreading,
Across your face
You think back to your time of grace.
When everything was so carefree.
Now you worry every day,
When will god take you away?
Will it be sooner or will it be later?
You sit worrying of what is to come
People are mourning in the church
The hearse takes you away
But my darling
We will be together again
someday
