Relaxation
Sitting here in my room
The sun shines through the window so bright
It warms my face and makes me feel good
Even though it is so simple it is nice
A full day is ahead of me
That doesn’t matter at all
I just want to relax and rest
The week ahead is daunting
My fan whirs a monotone comfort
Eyelids growing heavy
Thoughts leave my mind as it goes blank
Every worry in the world melts away
Fading to black, a well deserved treat
