Out The Window
Darkening clouds cover the sky,
The drizzle of rain creates a peaceful sound.
There’s not a spot left dry
On this concrete ground.
The sirens blare
To this twisting wind.
Yet I watch without care
My eyes seem pinned.
A whirling roar
Starts to fill my ear.
This storms rancor
Is quick to strike fear.
With the storms comply,
The sirens are downed.
There’s not a spot left dry
On this concrete ground.
