This sport, this training, these wild accusations
The bickering and pushing causing me complications
Can I give up? Can I let go?
Is this the end of my road?
Cause while trying to dodge bullets I carry a large load
The stress, the anticipation
It’s all just too much for my life!
The heavy breathing and constant tears
Cuts and wounds with feelings of a knife
Can I let it go? Can I get free?
Off the long board I will dive
Pull my weight, prove you wrong
& this track career will still be alive
