There are soldiers fighting in the battlefields
Dying in their American honor
Screaming on top their lungs
Tears that are frustrated
To be held back or to let out
They want to quit in the middle of it
But they don’t
They hold on to their last energy
To once witness their children
To see their wife’s smile
To be in sight of America
High five’s from strangers
Appreciation from every corner
Destination of hope
Locks them in a time of dreams
Every night portrays them in a fairytale ending
Reading every letter
But never good-byes
The struggles that is face upon them
Makes them stronger
Makes them in hope
To once have a reunion
With their love ones and their families
