A soaring bird
Wings outstretched
The white tuft of its feathers,
The majestic orange beak,
Bright yellow feet,
Magnificent plumage,
Bold, daring, reckless
Yet wary of feet and rocks,
Flying
Swooping
Diving
Making loud caws
Snatching up crumbs
Bread,
Trash,
McDonald’s,
Little fish
The seagull
Will annoy us forever.
