Her voice was heard over all others
Her laughter was the loudest of all of them
She was a lucky little girl,
Still a child, still oblivious to the real world
Protected from the pain and suffering it could cause
Her laughter was contagious,
Spreading to anyone lucky enough to hear
It made us all happy
Happy to be there, happy to know her
Or just happy to hear her laugh
She was laughing as she ran through the field
With no shoes and no socks on, she felt free
Free to relax whenever she wanted
Free to do whatever her heart desired
