When You Left
When you left at the door
I fell to the ground
you made everyday perfect
with everything you did
You said goodbye and kissed my cheek
as you did, I felt so terrible
I could feel the tears on my face
pouring down like a river
Before you left, I looked at you
and fell to my knees
you turned away and shook your head
you walked out the door
And disappeared down the road
after you were gone
I knew I could never fall in love again
I would never love anyone as much as I love you
