As I Drive
As I drive
The light from the moon
Engulfs me
As I drive
To nowhere I am going
Nowhere
And nowhere fast
As I drive
This eerie light surrounds me
Me and the dark road
Me and my car
My little car
And my driving to nowhere
As I drive
I fall into a relaxed trance
Giving into the eerie light
Falling captive to the beauty
As I drive
The radio sings
A soft
Sweet melody
Words of nothing that flow
Through my head
Through my mind
Without stopping
As I drive
I find myself
Slowly slipping toward happiness
But as I drive
I realize that there's one thing missing
One thing that would make me truly happy
You.
