The Whisper
A fragile soul longing
Since the day her sun, moon, and stars dissolved like a whisper
The same whisper that goes through the night
Sneaking past the border
Just to taunt the fragile soul passed through the hands of fate
A short life just started anew
Through the night she prays her resistance will hold
Month after month
Hoping that when morning comes it won’t be too late
Though the fragile soul shatters every time the whisper is still
The whisper, it seems, seldom moves these days
The fragile soul is in eternal darkness
Forever dark
When will the light come back
Will it be too late
And
Who
Would sneak west of the border
