Two Little Girls
Two Little girls, as innocent as can be.
They look like strangers, but one of them is me.
One little girl, who lives far away.
The other little girl, who came to stay.
Two happy girls, one pale, one tanned.
A beloved blonde barbie clutched in each hand.
Two dreaming girls, in their own magical world.
While the tractors plow and the prarie winds swirl.
Two little cousins are together today.
But tomorrow it?s over till the next holiday.
Two gloomy girls, waving goodbye.
One drives away, one goes inside.
