The Days I Spent...
I sit in bed for hours
I write until my eyes feel heavy
And along the way I let a tear out
I think about the past
Because I would rather look back and know
Than look forward and only guess
I look around and stare at all the pictures
That I have hung among my walls
And I always remember what brought me here
My inspirations and my creations
The days I spent wishing I could just grow up
The days I wished it would all just stop
The hours I spent trying to recapture the memories I let go
The days I wasted just sitting around
The months I have spent thinking
Why does it all happen?
Why does it all have to change?
