I Turn to You
There is this one being
I know loves me
Truly and Sincerely
He helps me breath
With ease
I can hear and see
Because He granted
Me these gifts
The body He gave me
Is whole and healthy
Telling Him “Thank You”
Does not compare
To His generous blessings
I have a roof over my head
And a full stomach
This love I am given,
I am grateful
For.
He blessed me with
A family who loves me.
He tests my faith
With obstacles
He helps me pass.
Doing this
Makes me stronger
I love Him
And thank Him
For all that He has given me
I thank Him for
The Sun, that lights my path
And for
The Moon, that guides me
Through the dark.
I thank Him for
Being born who I am
And for
Loving me after all
The mistakes I made.
I thank Him for opening
My eyes and always being there.
If there is one being
I know I can turn to
It is Him
He watches over me
Day and Night
He protects me from
The Evils of the world
And of Myself
For 17 years I knew
Of your presence
But it wasn’t until
Now,
That I truly see your beauty
You fill my heart
With Truth
A truth,
That cannot be
Denied.
When I turn to you
You are always there
Waiting
You know what is
Best for me
You have given me
So much
And I thank you
But I have one
Thing to ask for
Please keep me on
Your path dont let
Me stray
Oh my beloved
I turn to you
