Whisked Away
You were a lonesome tulip in a field of roses
But when the weeds took over you slowly began to whither away
You were a little fish in a sea of sharks
But when they began to get hungry you began to swim away
You were an only cloud in an open sky
But then the storm approached and you were washed away
You were a single candle flickering in the dark
But then the lights turned on and you began to disappear
Where you went I do not know
But I know you will never return
Because everything got to the best of you
And finally you surrendered to it all
And you were whisked away into the
Shadows so far, far away
