Jonathan O Jonathan
Jon
O Jon
You had hope
Peace
Love
You were only five
You lived each day with pleasure
From the woods behind your house
To the playground at the school
You were a role model
Till one night
It was darker than ever
Mom was gone
Dad was gone
You waited and waited
For something
Then you heard dads stumbling feet
Walking in the kitchen
Jon Jon
Jonathan
I want to see you know
The smell of booze was all over Him
Jonathan hide
But his father followed
His father new his hiding spots
Jonathan was no more that morning
He died the night
His mom came home to see his body
While his dad passed out in a chair
The night will live on forever
For it was their anniversary
He quit drinking
But it didn't' save Jonathan
Jonathan
O Jonathan
You had hope
Peace and Love
You were only five……..
