Happiness
I feel it slipping, sliding,
out of my grasp it's flying,
all I ever wanted.
I see it escaping, disappearing,
straight through my fingers it's falling,
never to be mine.
I hear it screaming, crying,
down in the black abyss it's calling,
its name is on my lips.
I taste it burning, dying,
out of my life it's spiraling,
forever out of my hands.
Then I'm jumping, following,
out of this nightmare I'm ending.
