What if I ran away…
and showed up on your doorstep?
Would you welcome me in?
Or
Would you shut the door in my face?
What if I started to cry...
and I asked for your arms?
Would you hold me?
Or
Would you push me away?
What if I screamed…
And took my frustration out on you?
Would you listen to what I had to say?
Or
Would you tune me out?
What if I put a blade to my wrist…
and threatened to bleed?
Would you try to stop me?
Or
Would you just stand there and watch?
And if I told you I loved you?
Would you care?
