Fly High
I just want to break down
And let it all come out
Let the weight fall off
And let my feet fly high
Feel the breeze in my hair
And the sun against my skin
Don’t want to face the clouds
And the cold rain that covers me
Wish it would disappear
The cold and dark days
So life would be like it used to be
When life was all about the fun and games
Rather than the grades and the big life decisions
I hate the questions they ask me
Because I don’t have the answers
And I wish I could just fly away
And let the weight fall off
Let my feet fly high
And feel the breeze in my hair
Without the weight of growing up pulling me back down to reality
