Longing
Red like the anger, the pent up aggression,
of waiting and wishing for hours,
Yellow like the smile that comes to your face,
When you imagine that you had the power,
to decide whatever fate should come your way,
like the orange of warmth and success,
Green like the clover of good fortune that's yours,
even when patience runs less and less,
Blue like the sadness that flows withing,
as you wait for your day to come,
and black like the darkness that chokes you within,
as you fear that you won't be the one.
