Feeling Confused
As soon as you close your eyes
A shadow of a hand pulls you into darkness
The darkness that was once your memories
The blade of the sword through your heart
The dark red sight of blood flowing out
You watch helplessly as the memories replay as you scream
The sign of weakness within all of those drops of tears
All the hopes and dreams appear out of the shadows
Suddenly, the sword cuts through until only ash is left
Hopes, dreams, and wishes of sparkles in your eyes fade with terror
Much of the happiness is finally replaced with despair
Still there is a cold blue fire that remains deep within your heart
Even though the thought of dropping everything will collapse your already weak body
You want to reach for the star that is beyond where you stand
The star that shows who you truly are and who you will become
Instead your spirit shows the different path that you take than the others
The path that has unbearable pain and sorrow mixed with the happiness of joy and laughter
Your heart flows like the slow, calm, relaxing river in the forest
When decisions are hard, it comes down to your heart to decide
You are different from the rest of the world and need to believe
Miracles can let your dreams soar if you believe in them
As you reach out to reach for that silver star again
You shatter the glass that held you back because it came from your greatest supporters
